Web Changes

This is where we'll announce the most recent additions to our web site. If you've visited us before and want to know what's changed, take a look here first.

  • The program and meeting schedule from previous years will be saved and accessible for future reference (06-09-2010).
  • The Feedback form has been changed to send an e-mail to webmaster@sfpe-dfw.com when the form is submitted.  The previous version stored any submitted information on the server and had to be checked manually for responses.  This should make getting answers submitted on-line easier to resolve (06-02-2010).
  • Long time Chapter member, recent Past President, and supporter of the SFPE-DFW Chapter Mr. W.D. "Del" Holm, P.E. passed away November 19, 2008 in Dallas, Texas, after a long battle with cancer.  (December 6, 2008)
  • The response to the December 1, 2008 meeting has exceeded our expectations.  Reservations are no longer being accepted. (11/18/2008)  
  • The response to the December 1, 2008 meeting has exceeded our expectations.  We currently have approximately 15 seats available for the event.  Due to the limited space, we will not be able to accommodate people who do not RSVP by the 11/24/2008 deadline.   See "Next Meeting" for more information. (11/17/2008) 
  • [New!]The Dallas/Fort Worth Chapter moves to it's own domain name (www.sfpe-dfw.com) to provide access for Chapter officers and continuity for future executive committees. (December 8, 2007)
  • SFPE International establishes a web log at http://blog.sfpe.org.  Posts include SFPE news, upcoming events, member updates, and other information regarding SFPE and fire protection engineering. (September 2007)
  • Meeting minutes for the previous year were uploaded.  Additional meeting minutes will be added as they become available. (August 14, 2007)
  • The web site is as functional as it is going to get.  Everything planned for the site has been implemented and the "Under Construction" graphic has been removed from the site. (August 5, 2007)
  • Society of Fire Protection Engineers, Dallas/Fort Worth Chapter Establishes Internet Presence (Summer, 2007)
