Each year the Dallas/Fort Worth Chapter of the Society of Fire Protection Engineers offers two $1000 scholarships to selected students who are interested in pursuing a career in Fire Protection Engineering. Candidates for the scholarships must be accepted into a 4-year engineering or engineering technology degree program and have either: a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0, score 600 or better on the mathematics portion of the SAT, or have a score of 19 or better on the ACT Timeline:
To apply for the scholarship, the enclosed Application for Scholarship form and essays must be completed and returned by March 14, 2008. Submittal of application by email is preferred, but US mail is acceptable. Please contact the Scholarship Committee Chairman for further assistance.
